Goals that Matter

What if the priorities of a small, struggling church nearly 2,000 years ago are exactly what we need today?

In this episode, we continue our study through Colossians, where Paul lays out three goals for the believers in Colossae and Laodicea. They're simple enough to grasp, yet powerful enough to reshape a life: be encouraged, be united in love, and grow toward spiritual maturity.

Biblical encouragement is more than kind words or a pick-me-up. At its root, it means putting courage into someone else, helping them see that in Christ, they can stay faithful, stand firm, and become who God is calling them to be.

Paul is clear that none of this comes from having it all figured out. It grows out of a life rooted in Christ and committed to His people. As we encourage one another, pursue unity, and keep growing in our grasp of God's truth, we start to look like a church that reflects the heart of Christ to a watching world.
