Qualified to Inherit
What does it mean to be truly wealthy?
In this sermon, we explore Colossians 1: 12- 14 and discover a kind of wealth that cannot be measured by bank accounts, possessions, or earthly success. Paul reminds us that God has qualified us to share in the inheritance of His holy people in the kingdom of light. Not because of what we have done, but because of what Christ has done for us.
Together, we'll unpack the incredible progression of God's grace. Through Christ, our sins are forgiven. We are redeemed, meaning our debt has been paid in full. We are rescued from the dominion of darkness and transferred into the kingdom of God's beloved Son. More than a change of status, this is a change of family. We are adopted into God's household and become heirs to promises we could never earn on our own.
This message reminds us that the greatest riches are not found in what we possess, but in whose we are. The grace of God offers an inheritance that far surpasses anything this world can provide, giving us hope, purpose, and a future secured in Christ.
Join us as we reflect on the riches of redemption, the joy of adoption, and the overwhelming grace that has made us heirs of God's kingdom.
